Happy Easter!

We had a very nice Easter yesterday - at first. When the girls woke up, we went downstairs for the Easter Egg hunt in our family room. Chloe was on top of things, but Emily just had fun running around, she didn't really get it. Chloe was the sweet big sister though, she helped Emily find 2 eggs. After they were all found, Chloe noticed the Easter baskets on the table. She got a chocolate Easter bunny, peeps (of course!) Pez, candy jewlery, and some Littlest Pet Shop figures. Emily didn't get as much candy, just a couple of marshmallow bunnies and some M&Ms. She also got an egg-shaped Magna Doodle, Pez, and a My Little Pony. They looked so cute in their matching Easter dresses. Emily wasn't being very cooperative, so I couldn't get a good picture of them together. I did manage to get one of the girls with Mike, but you'll notice that Emily is crying in the picture. We went to church, both services since Mike and I serve during the 2nd one, then came home for quiet time and a nap. We didn't have any family coming over, and we weren't going to visit family so I made a small ham dinner just for us. After dinner, that's when things started to go downhill. Chloe came down with a 103.2 fever, and I started with a cough and sore throat. Chloe woke up in the middle of the night with a coughing fit so bad, she couldn't breathe. She has croupe, again! With croupe, the cough is always worse at night, then goes away during the day. We also let her sleep in bed with us so we can keep an eye (a closed one) on her breathing, which means that Mike and I don't get much sleep. She's okay today, still has a small fever, only 102.1. Hopefully Emily doesn't get sick from her. Chloe's birthday party is this weekend, so I'm praying that she gets better by then. She's been talking about her party for months now!

I'll leave you with some pictures from yesterday, before the sickness!

I hope Chloe feels better soon! I can't believe Emily is old enough to look for eggs...time really flies by and they grow up so fast!
